Project Overview

The Escravos Gas-to-Liquid project is one of the largest energy investments in Nigerian history. Located approximately 300km southeast of Lagos in Delta State, the facility represents a cornerstone of Nigeria's strategy to monetize its vast natural gas reserves.

JAD was mobilized to the project in May 2006, providing critical support services across multiple disciplines. The project targets an initial production of 34,000 barrels daily, with plans to scale to 120,000 barrels within a decade.

Scope of Work

Marine Logistics Services

Comprehensive marine logistics support including tugboats, barges, and crew vessels for offshore operations.

Catering for Approximately 6,500 Residents

Full catering, housekeeping, and laundry services for the project camp population.

Facility Management

Complete facility maintenance and management of camp infrastructure and utilities.

Heavy Lift and Jetty Management

Crane operations, heavy-lift services, and jetty management for equipment offloading and transport.

Houseboats (500–1,200 Capacity)

Provision and management of fully equipped houseboats with power pontoons for offshore accommodation.

Marine and Heavy-lift Services

Integrated marine vessel and heavy-lift operations supporting construction and logistics.

7

Fabrication & Installation of Accommodation/Office Units

Design, fabrication, and installation of modular accommodation and office units on-site.
